Glu6 Craft Paste Review: The Glue That Saves Planet Earth®

Hey everyone!  Thanks for coming to the blog today to read this review I am doing for Nine Lives Products!  Nine Lives Products created this amazing line of Glu6 products, which are made from 100% recycled Styrofoam and plant based materials.  Glu6 uses plant based ingredients to process the product, and releases zero heat and zero emissions.  When one of the co-founders of the company informed me of that, I became very excited to try their Glu6 product.   New useful products made from discarded products, and processed in an Earth-friendly manner, makes so much sense!  100% of the waste Nine Lives Products recycles goes into their products.

So, this morning I set out to complete one of the DIY projects I am doing for my son's upcoming birthday party.  I needed some adhesive for these treat tags.  The company sent me 2 products to try. Today I am testing and reviewing the Glu6 Craft Paste.  The Craft Paste is great for scrapbooking, school projects, and other arts and crafts.  The Glue6 Craft Paste seemed like the perfect adhesive to use on this project.  To use you may need to stir it a bit.  Separation of this product is natural, and you are informed of this on the lid.  This product is also non-toxic.  It does have an odor, however not an offensive odor.  It actually smells quite well.  I did not find the scent to be bothersome.  I used a poly-brush to dip into the glass jar of paste, and then I spread a thin layer on my card stock, and positioned my other piece of card stock over it.  You can reposition your material, as the glue does not dry up right away.  Which is great for me, because I am picky and like my projects to be lined up properly.  The product dries clear and it dries flat.  I was just telling my husband that I love that this craft paste looks so natural on my project.  You cannot even tell I have glued the two card stock tags together.  The appearance is a perfectly smooth and dry one.  This is my favorite thing, other than the huge Earth-friendly factor!

Just a few tips:  I would put something down like a paper towel, or even better a reusable mat, on your work surface.  Allow the glue to dry.  Letting your project dry overnight is recommended on the label. You need only apply a thin layer of the Glu6 Craft Paste.  Additionally, the Glu6 Craft Paste is for semi-porous surfaces.
